Artemisinin and colo-rectal cancer

In February 2009 I was diagnosed w/ colo-rectal cancer. It had already metastasized to my liver by the time I was diagnosed.

A good friend told me about the Chinese herb "Sweet Wormwood" or Artemisinin. After going thru chemo w/ a pic line ( 24/7 ) and daily radiation Monday-Friday for 12 weeks, I believe, I started using the herb Artemisinin on 6/17/09, the last day of radiation and chemo, 4+ weeks later the surgeon could not physically locate the tumor in my rectum and on the PET scan only a small scar was visable in rectum...liver had regressed to one small shadow ( from 4 tumors on lobes ) that the liver specialist advised me he would not operate at this time, we would monitor activity.

This took place at the Huntsman Cancer Center , SLC, Utah. Still the surgeon advised a colostomy. At 52 yrs of age I desired to try anything other than that...including massive prayer, and alternative medicine.

We traveled to Dallas to seek a specialist to preform an LAR, which could be very brutal in it's own right. It would leave me with a voluntary spincter only...meaning I would have to mentally , 24 hrs a day remind myself to hold it. I continued taking the Artemisinin.

One week before T'giving we werwe finally accepted and did visit the CTCA at Goodyear AZ., they not only had heard of Artemisinin, but their naturepath advised me to continue on this regimen. I have and will remain so.

After tests etc. there was no cancer obvious. Therefore, 12/08/09 surgery was preformed on my rectum to excise the scar tissue only. This was done and 1 cm of healthy tissue around scar was biopsied as well...it all came back negative.

I next will undergo chemo infusion, to keep shadow in liver in check, and to ensure that cancer is not hiding elswhere.

I realise that modern science helped a great deal...but I trully believe that along with mine and many others prayers the Artemisinin aided me greatly in this battle.

All of you that are battling Colon, Lukiemia, breast and various other cancers owe it to youselves to Google ( search on your computer ) The cancer smart bomb 1, 2, etc., follow all the threads and be sure to read the Artemisinin Update.

Holley Artemisinin is the most reliable that I have found so far...they compound and extract the essential oil to the specifications of the scientist doing the research ( Dr. H. Lai/Dr. Singh among many others ).

That being said the best deal is through Pure Prescriptions...$39.99 for 30 day supply plus various discounts and all.

I am not a spokesman nor being paid by anyone I merely want all that will listen and desire hope to reach out there and grab some. I believe in this powerful herb and will try and keep this blog updated to about my healt and progress.

I am new to computers and do not know much, I hiope I can find my wauy back to this blog again.

Sincerely..............................P.T.F.

  3. Love hearing people give their views on political stuff. I really like it if it's not politically correct.
Glad you found your way back.
I've been through the medical wringer the last 9 months but you've had it a lot rougher. My niece went through Chemo for lukemia for a long time. Now she's a teenager and cancer free. I'm glad you found something that helps without almost killing you in the process.

  4. Hi Phil - came over from JS's blog - she and I have been talking to each other for almost two years now. I see that feisty runs in the family!

I have a little ritual that I do when go into a church here in Rome and since there are 993 of the mothers it happens frequently. Anyway I light a candle and say a few words remembering people I know - not sure if it helps but as an old monk I know once told me: if nothing else it brings a bit of light into the world and someone has remembered you. And you will be part of that light and my remembering.

  5. I survived rectal cancer. Thankfully, I found out in stage 1. I did two rounds of chemo and thirty three radiation sessions. I had my two year anniversary in January. Congratulations on beating the odds.

  6. I thought I just posted info for Melanoma Cancer INDIAN MUD or BLACKROOT...google this as it sounds a bit caustic...passed on from 2nd-3rd gen. removed Cherokee Nation friend, soon as we are settled in house with new roomate I'll be more comfy and able to vett? findings myself but I'm tarred so do it yourself...you got this far didn't you??...flying back n forth to AZ from EAST TX
is gruelingly (sic) tiresome...thanks Mike, Ronald, Drew, Bob and everyone else involved in Operation CARE-FLIGHT...these pilots volunteer their time to get us to treatment and back and I want to say thank You for the sandwich and hospitality from Beth and the good folks of Wink TX. at their proud airport, unlike the East TX. "woodbine" shallow wells of home where ya could drive from rig to rig down blacktop roads, out there ( and I mean there, it is a Nirvana of minful grey matter sorting bliss ) you can just let the wind blow ya from location to location. I need to go out there and set up to do some oilfield paintings beings I used to "roughneck" and know some thing of it, it should translate most easily to canvas, and the wide open scenery would only lend to the point of focus upon the working floor of the rig or belly board of the "attic" ( er derrick to you laymen ) hey, this felt pretty good I'll start writing more often even if the "meds" ain't kicked in yet. In the future I'll relate some very funny often tragic tales of the "patch" during my on again off again love affair with the "oilfield"....until then...be still and,
peace...Pheel or Luther as you may.

  7. I think it's cool that you are sharing what you have learned. I use herbs and vitamins but have never heard of Artemisinin. You obviously know a lot more about herbs than I. I use milk thistle to try to keep my liver healthy, since I drink a lot of beer, but that probably wouldn't be the same as your situation.
Anyway, thanks for dropping by my blog, I think the world of JS.
